WELCA - 2nd Wednesdays of the month - 11 am - general business meeting followed by lunch at ~ noon, followed by Bible Study. Join Zion's women for a full - day!
Quilting - Thursday mornings at 9 am - everyone welcome - no experience necessary - will train - quilts go to Lutheran World Relief as well as locally as needed.

We need hosts for March 14th and following months on the 2nd Sunday - Sign up in the narthex
First Communion Classes are scheduled for Mar 17th and Mar 24th at 5:15 - 6 pm. There will be a soup supper at 5 pm so they do not have to eat prior to coming to the class. First Communion will be received on Maundy Thursday, April 1st at the 6 pm Worship Service.
New Members: If you are interested in becoming a member at Zion, please contact Judy at judym@up.net or 524-5993. A Service of Affirmation of Baptism is held every 1st Sunday after Easter (April 11th) at both the 9 am and 10:45 Worship Service. However, Baptisms, Affirmations of Baptisms, and transfers of membership are welcome anytime!

We are in need of volunteers to sign up to keep the church plowed out. There is a sign up sheet in the narthex.
NEWSLETTER FREQUENCY
Beginning January 2010, the newsletter will be published bi-monthly (6 editions per year). Most of our newsletter can be found on this web-site www.zionlutheranskanee.org Beginning with the April-May newsletter we anticipate that those who previously indicated that they would like to receive the newsletter by email rather than hard copy will receive it electronically.
*** If you or a family member are hospitalized, please place your name on the list for Zion or call Judy so that Judy can visit. HIPPA regulations prevent Judy from visiting unless you request it.
