There will be a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, May 19th from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Sponsored by the Youth/Family Committee. Donations for the Youth Retreat 2014 will be accepted.

June 15th - Zion will be participating in the Skanee-wide Rummage sale. Donations can be dropped off at the church in the Sunday School classrooms. This is a fundraiser for the 2014 Youth Retreat. Volunteers are needed to set up, work the sale, and clean up. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex.

Keys For Youth Retreat: There is a can in the narthex to collect old keys that no longer work or that you have no more use for. Bill Menge will ensure that they are recycled for cash for the youth.

OTHER METAL/TIN NON-RETURNABLE CANS: Tom and Kathy Gobert are at Zion every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month to pick up your scrap metal/tin vegetable cans, etc. for recycling. This not only helps the environment, but our budget as well.

NEWSLETTER FREQUENCY The newsletter is published bi-monthly (6 editions per year). Most of our newsletter can be found on this web-site www.zionlutheranskanee.org If you are not receiving a newsletter and would like one either hard-copy or via email please let us know! zlcs@up.net Your hard copies will be placed in your mailbox at the church for at least one Sunday (usually the last Sunday of the month) before they are mailed so that you can pick them up and save the congregation postage.
*** If you or a family member are hospitalized, please place your name on the list at the hospital for Zion or call Pr. Judy so that she can visit. HIPPA regulations prevent Pr. Judy from visiting unless you request it.
