Youth Education
Sunday School - Sundays at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone welcome - the 4th thru 5th grade assist in Worship on the last Sunday of the months.  

First Communion Classes
First Communion classes for grades 3rd and up will be held on Wednesday, Mar 17 and Mar 24 at 5:15 pm.  Others wishing to attend to see what they are learning or as a refresher for themselves are also welcome.  Our youth will receive their first communion on Maundy Thursday, April 1st druing the 6 pm Worship Service. 

Confirmation - Online class Wed, Feb 3 at 8 pm.  Paper is due by classtime.  There will be no online classes during Lent due to mid-week Worship Services.  Confirmands will serve soup supper on Wed, March 24th at 5 pm.
"Marked" with the cross of Christ retreat on Sunday afternoon/evening in Negaunee, April 25th.  This is a required outing for Confirmands.  We need one additional driver.  Contact Judy.   

Adult Education
Wednesday mornings at 9 am in the church library - "Is God Real?" How Modern Theology Undermines the Christian Faith.  An Institute of Theology Course presented by Dr. Dennis Bieldfeldt - Judy will facilitate discussion.  
Astonishingly, many Lutheran and other Christian theologians today believe that God exists only as a human concept.  They maintain that God has no reality apart from human awareness, perception and language about Him, and you may be surprised to find how easy it is for them to make that argument!  However, these claims have a profound effet on most basic Christian beliefs and understanding.  Find out how much is at stake in what may sound like and obvious question - "Is God Real?"
