SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday School will resume in September.
CONFIRMATION
This is a 2-year program. Youth are expected to attend Worship and Serve both at Zion and in the community. There is also study and memory work involved. Every other year the youth participate in an online course on the catechism during the school year as I have found that the 1 week for 2 summers is just not enough for them to even begin understanding what we believe and teach. Sunday School has also begun a program to help teach some of these basics. It would be most helpful if our youth attended Sunday School and (at least) Worship on a regular basis as elementary children to be prepared to study the Bible and Catechism at the Jr. High level. During Lent, the Sunday School will be chief parts of Luther's Catechism.
Summer Program 2013 will be held August 19-23 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon. Please contact Pr. Judy if you will be joining the class as a first year student.
